Dynamic Brisbane duo launch RWC Gateway
After working together for almost a decade, commercial real estate team Jared Doyle and Jack Gwyn have taken their business to the next level, opening RWC Gateway.

Before buying an industrial building for your own Christchurch business, start with how the operation will use the site: vehicle access, usable warehouse space, power, staff facilities and any constraints on the intended activity. Ask your lawyer and suitably qualified building and planning advisers to review the title, records and condition before committing.
RWC Christchurch’s records show 1 Expo Place, Bromley sold on 3 August 2026. The office marketed the property with a warehouse and office/showroom space, roller-door access, three-phase power and an on-site yard. These advertised features show why buyers should consider the whole operation, not just the floor-area headline. They do not establish the current condition or suitability of that property or another site.
Explore the office’s commercial sold collection and speak with Paula Raine, the agent named in the Bromley marketing, about premises that fit your requirements.
Map the movement of your largest vehicle from the road through the gate, yard and loading area. Check turning space, roller-door dimensions, delivery times, parking and whether access is shared. Within the building, measure clear heights and the areas needed for equipment, stock, staff and customers. Ask a suitable adviser whether the existing services and layout support your proposed use; an advertised total area does not describe every usable part of a building.
Ask for title and survey information, consent and completion records, building reports, plans and any available service and maintenance documents. Have your lawyer explain easements, access rights, leases and other obligations. Seek appropriate technical advice on the structure, roof, fire systems, electrical supply and any remedial work. An advertised engineering assessment or power supply should be checked against the actual documents and your intended use.
For context, CBRE reported in August 2026 that nearly 134,000 square metres of industrial space was added across Christchurch in the second half of 2025 and first half of 2026. That citywide measure is not the number of suitable small buildings available in Bromley or a forecast for a particular site. Compare actual opportunities and their terms with your advisers.
Ask your accountant and lawyer about the transaction, GST treatment and the proposed ownership structure. Obtain estimates for fit-out, insurance, rates, maintenance, operating costs and any required upgrades. Check the time and approvals needed for your intended activity before deciding whether the property fits the business. A useful comparison brings the site’s documents and practical constraints together with the purchase price.
